PS GSB won't sack MP as it will cost them too much.

I don't think they should sack him.

Too many luxury players in the squad. Very good technically but have too many off days.

Antonio is a huge miss for us. Sooner he is back the better.

What I meant was he needs to do what you said. Basically, sort it out. I just didn't bore everyone with the details.

We have many players capable of a big game but they deliver very few, this shouldn't be the managers problem especially when a lot of them have been brought in for a decent fee & on decent wedge playing under a manger who enjoys the game being played the right way.

Can i ask why 'Mr West Ham' himself often has timid games? He knows what is expected and how the example needs to be set but doesn't put this standard out there often enough.

Even when Billy was having a bad game he STILL had set the stall out for the rest of the team to step up to. I like Noble because he's a capable player but often more capable of not turning up.

is there any way we can perform a "get out" procedure and put Noble's consciousness into Kouyate's body? perfect centre midfield partner for Rice there

Agree Hermit we need a Noble with abit more pace to get around and can link up with the forwards more to be a goal threat

Look at how McTominay compliments Perreira in recent weeks or how Tielimans links up with Madison. Thats what we're missing

I see a lot of people talking about the need for a defensive midfielder but in my opinion we already have one of the best. Theres few teams that play with two of them and of those that do, they tend to be very negative.

To play the way Pell wants we need a top class defensive midfielder to compliment Rice and two full backs who are reliable and not prone to regular brain fuck moments

There it is

I didnt mean defending, meant more when we have the ball and are looking to attack!

excellent point Rossal.

a decent manager would find a way of releasing our most creative players so he doesn't spend so much time defending.
how often do you see Zaha doing that kind of work?

Anderson always has high distance covered stats cos he ends up spending all game running from the left wing position to fucking left back

Re: IF Pellegrini would get the sack what options are there out there to replace him?
If our owners sack Pellegrini it will be because we are in a relegation position and they see a real chance of us going down ( with a consequent devaluation of their major asset ). As with Bilic they will balance the risk of keeping the manager and hoping for improvement compared to the disruption of a new coaching team having to take over a mess and improve things.

And importantly which manager, that they would deem good enough to keep us up, is available.

I’ll give him his due, he’s sticking to his convictions despite evidence to the contrary, unlike a few .
Somebody made a comment regarding how hard he is to understand during interviews, imagine that during a H/T time ? May as well get Harry Kane to phone it in using a Nokia from a helicopter.

1. So because they're our team, the players are allowed not to put in an acceptable amount of effort to at least compete? They might as well have the week off next time we're due to play Brighton.

2. I hadn't realised he was only on up to £7mil a year. Tough times. Only the 4th highest paid manager in the league, not the 3rd highest.

3. I'm going to pretend I didn't read that.

Re: IF Pellegrini would get the sack what options are there out there to replace him?
The last 20 years means nothing for the present time. It’s just an excuse. It was an awful performance.

Saturday was poor, like Everton & palace.
Both teams had chances. We didn’t look like a team that cost so much.

You’re saying MP takes credit for picking Snodgrass? Then he has to take criticism for picking players that don’t perform........ or clearly aren’t fit enough.

Bottom line, it’s his responsibility.

Would have been if the players finished the chances off but they didn't so it was poor overall (as previously posted)

are you really going to try and pin roberto's robotic dive for their goal? He spoilt an otherwise good performance himself

As for the subs, noble and snodgrass were both blowing and pellegrini would have taken further stick if he had kept them on, they were getting breezed past.

Fornals came on and made a clear chance that wasnt put away. However Anderson should have stayed on despite the average game he was having.

As previously said Everton are very strong at home, even man city struggled to get their win. 3 wins in 20 odd years there.

Re: IF Pellegrini would get the sack what options are there out there to replace him?
Oddly for someone who is meant to be an attacking coach, the biggest improvement he’s brought has been defensively.
The high line & discipline of that line is way better than before. The number of players we catch offside is v high.

Surprised someone hasn’t worked us out, runners from deep & we are fucked.
